
Danelec Marine joins Denmark’s first Autonomous Ship Project
Danelec Marine is proud to announce participation in ‘ShippingLab’, an ambitious 3-year project partnership with the common goal of creating Denmark’s first autonomous, environmentally-friendly ship.
At this point, 33 million DKK has been invested in the project that gathers competencies from 27 relevant partners with the common objective to pursue innovative solutions driving smart shipping of the future.
The purpose of the collaboration is to ensure that Danish maritime competencies remain the world leader in environmental technology and the development of competencies within autonomous solutions for ships.
In building Denmark’s first autonomous, environmentally-friendly ship, the partners are organized in four main categories:
