Danelec Marine launches 3rd Generation S-VDR & VDR products.
Following on from the DM300 S-VDR and DM500 VDR, the new and 3rd generation of S-VDR and VDR products offers an unmatched flexibility in a new, compact and light weight, easy to install solution.
The solid construction and innovative design makes the DM200 S-VDR and DM400 VDR systems among the most compact systems available. The modular design combined with the “hot-swap” capability of modules reduces maintenance cost and time greatly.
The DM200 S-VDR and DM400 VDR are configured through a standard web browser interface which incorporates an extremely high level of auto configuration, reducing the cost and time of installation.
The DM200 S-VDR and DM400 VDR use the latest technology in Solid State Memory devices (no moving parts = longer lifetime) and has new USB functionality for simplified data retrieval. In addition, if longer data storage periods are required, optional extended external storage capacity is available.

Danelec Marine reaches sales of more than 2000 S-VDR/VDR systems.
Danelec Marine is proud to announce that the sale of 2000 S-VDR / VDR systems have been reached during 2nd quarter of 2008.
Danelec Marine is recognized as one of the pioneers in the S-VDR / VDR market and is today one of the leaders in this market. The company's first generation VDR products was developed in 1999-2000 and later sold to a major Japanese manufacturer of marine equipment for the deep-sea market. This led to the development of the second generation S-VDR and VDR products, which is successfully sold and marketed partly through an OEM partnership with Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine and partly through a world-wide network of major sales and service distributors. Danelec Marine signed in 2007 a global sales and distribution agreement with the Radio Holland Group.
Allan Lydersen, Sales and Marketing Director said ”This is an extremely important milestone to reach for Danelec Marine in a very competitive market. The reason for this success is no doubt a combination of a world class OEM and distribution network and a product design, matching the technology and commercial demands in the market. We are looking forward to expand our business in the future both in this and related marine equipment areas”.
